Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade - Dark Brown

I’ve been using the same brand of eye brow pencil for years to create a natural fuller brow with the odd use of pigmented wax when I have a little more time. But recently I’ve wanted my brows to be a slightly more defined and bold to create a more contoured look.
You'll know already that there are excessive amounts of eye brow products out there to thicken and shape those expressive arches but if you have brown hair you’ll also know how hard it is to find a brown shade that doesn’t have that darn reddish tint.

Introducing the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade. This product is a huge favourite in the Bloggersphere and now a Holy Grail product of mine too. It is available in around 8 different shades with 4 individual brown pigments (Soft Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Chocolate). I chose the Dark Brown shade which matches perfectly providing a cold toned dark brown pigment with no reddish under tones.

The formula has a creamy gel-mousse consistency that is 100% smudge proof and waterproof (hurrah!). It is the ultimate product to create a neat, natural arch and fill in those sparse areas to create fuller brows that have a matt finish.

A little goes a long way with this product so on application (using an angled brush) lightly dip the brush into the pomade and brush off the excess onto the back of your hand to return to it when filling in. Due to its matt finish and waterproof formula you do have to be a little quicker working with this product as it does tend to dry quite quickly. However as the creamy formula glides over the skin seamlessly, it’s super simple and quick to create your ultimate brow shape in no time.

This brow product is practically fool proof (among the other ‘proofs’) and with the right angled brush takes half the time than a brow pencil with no need to set with powder. The formula creates much more of a neat line that doesn’t bleed or crumble, so you’re able to create anything from natural brow to a bold, sharper look.

You can pick it up in Sephora but I grabbed my at a bargain price on BeautyBay!

  1. Great review! Love your photos too. I tend to use budget brow products but this does sound amazing! xx
