Yankee Candle Napa Valley Sun Review

There’s nothing better than sitting down in the evening with a glass of wine and lighting a scented candle. They set a welcoming scent to a room and can instantly change your mood. I've previously mentioned that I have a slight obsession with candles and my collection is vastly growing into a wax work museum! But you can never have too many candles, there for there's a new addition from the Yankee Candle family.

The Napa Valley Sun scent is part of Yankee Candles ‘Summer  Days’ collection and this rather large jar of buttery wax smells pretty darn incredible. A soft powdery vanilla scent with a sweet subtle grape tang that once lit fills the room with a welcoming fresh and relaxing essence.

The deep powdery undertones of amber conjure images of an antique french interior whilst the sugared grape scent adds a picturesque view of a large grape vineyard panning across a land seen from an open window.

It’s the perfect mix of a warming yet crisp fragrance, as though sunshine has been captured in a jar. I’ve been lighting this candle in the early evening after work and the clean/ fresh scent almost re-organises and clears your head.

It is a soft subtle scent that isn't pungent by any means but instead adds a light warmth to the room.
