I feel like I haven’t been on a ‘proper’ shopping trip in a long while. I’ve been picking up a couple pieces here and there but I’m trying not to splurge on things that are similar to what I already have. However let’s roll it back to a couple of favourite purchases I’ve made these last few months.
Typically in my favourites list has to be a purchase from my favourite store H&M. This printed daisy jumper is the perfect cropped shape that nips in at the waist in a loose style fit. There’s something a little retro looking about it but it’s the perfect transitional jumper to see you into Spring and looks great layered over a midi or teamed with tough look leather.
And yes, I have purchased yet another leather number. But there’s something about putting an edgy twist on a plain black skirt. I spied this little A-line number in the Dorothy Perkins sale for a bargain £9! It sits perfectly on the waist and slides over the hips. I’ve had a couple people say it looks more expensive than it was and this must be because of the matt worn look material which is super soft! It’s definitely one of those skirts you can dress up for going out on the town and will look great with chunky heels suede heels *Puts chunky suede shoes on next month’s wish list*.
My favourite purchase (which technically isn’t a purchase as it was a present) but never the less this has to be this beauty. Thank you Zara for your rather designer-esque bags that are super cheap for their quality. I’ve been after a large tote bag for such a long time but I wanted something different than your typical black or brown number. And then my parents bought this rather perfect bottle green number from Zara which I spotted on their website a couple months ago. It has two styles of strap so you can throw it over your arm with the double handles or use the detachable strap to throw it over your shoulder. It has to be said that this bag is great for throwing in the whole contents of your makeup bag, wardrobe and lipstick collections and still have room for more handbag junk!
