Dead Sea Spa Magik Delicate Boosting Face Mask - Holland and Barrett (*)
I’ve mentioned a number of times that during the winter my skin likes to play up and dry out due to the change in climate. However sitting here with yet another hydrating face mask on I think I am going to hold my hands up and admit that I’ve become ever so slightly obsessed with quenching my skins thirst. But to be honest without a nourished base your makeup isn’t going to look perfect and my skin is crying for moisture (not literally of course).
To add to my obsessive 'moisture containing' collection I’ve been kindly sent the Dead Sea Spa Magik’s Delicate Boosting Mask from Holland and Barrett. Now this mask claims to open pores, rebuild damage skin and revive your skin back to a healthy glow.
First things first, anything with the word ‘Spa’ in the title immediately get my hopes up. However this little tube of ‘magik’ has proved itself enough to be be worthy of getting your hopes up.
The formula itself is a thick, creamy consistency that on application isn’t messy at all The great thing I like about this product is it is non-drying and therefor is very gentle on the skin. It contains allegen free essential oils and pure Dead Sea minerals to remove impurities and boost your skins natural radiance. I applied it to my face and neck for 15minutes and then removed it with a damp face sponge.
After removing the product I noticed a big difference to my skin. It felt soft, plump and any previously dry areas (around the cheeks and forehead) had been smoothed out to improve my skins texture. I also noticed that my face felt fresh and breathable, almost as though it had been cleared of impurities. Most of my hydrating product work over night so I was very surprised of the result I got from this face mask in just 15 minutes.
This is a great product if you need a deep nourishing face mask to combat the effects of winter especially if you have sensitive skin.
