Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade - Dark Brown

I’ve been using the same brand of eye brow pencil for years to create a natural fuller brow with the odd use of pigmented wax when I have a little more time. But recently I’ve wanted my brows to be a slightly more defined and bold to create a more contoured look.
You'll know already that there are excessive amounts of eye brow products out there to thicken and shape those expressive arches but if you have brown hair you’ll also know how hard it is to find a brown shade that doesn’t have that darn reddish tint.

Christmas jumper day is right around the corner and if you haven’t already noticed there are an overwhelmingly large number of designs available, from the quirky to the cute to the stylish and the darn right ridiculous.

L- R  Collection 2000 Revenge 3, Rimmel Kate 107, Bourjois Rouge Podium 15, MUA Shade 3, Gosh Temptation 165 and Rimmel Apocalips Stellar 501

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post I’m a huge lipstick addict, I typically carry 3 different shades around with me in my handbag for those ‘just in case occasions’ whether I need a little something to brighten my face, take the focus away from my melting makeup or if I’m heading out straight after work and need a little something to spruce up and feel good.  I can guarantee that to some my lipstick collection looks almost identical from one to the next but to me they’re all completely different.

I’d been after a new camera for a while, My SLR felt too bulky to be running around with and my trusty compact digital canon just didn’t quite cut the mark when it came too using additional shooting modes to create effects. But after a good few months trying to seek out the best camera for my needs and the researching like crazy to make sure I chose the right one, I finally settled on this little beauty... the Sony A5000 Compact System Camera.

It’s no secret that even in winter I like my skin to have a natural ‘glow’ and the only way to achieve this through the colder months is a little white lie…
I’ve trialled and tested my fair share of gradual tanning moisturisers from the most popular to the little hidden gems but this one hits the nail on its head with everything I look for in a tanning product.

So if you don’t follow me on Instagram and you only loosely follow me on Twitter then you may not know that just over a year ago I adopted an African Pygmy Hedgehog.

Her name is ‘Pokey’ due to her prickly exterior (if it wasn’t obvious) but if you haven’t held a pygmy hedgehog that you’ll be surprised to know that she isn’t that prickly at all!

Winter weather conditions can leave your skin feeling dry, dull, chapped and uncomfortable. But it isn’t just the cold that you need protection from. When the dark nights creep in and your skin care regime changes, have you thought about sun protection?
It might seem odd as you pack away your sunscreen with your summer dresses but your skin needs protection all year round especially in those forgotten winter months.

So here’s a beauty girls guide to protecting your skin from that forgotten winter element…

I’ll hold my hands up and confess that as soon as the temperature drops I suddenly develop an unhealthy obsession with large cuts of material known as scarves.

The Fragrance Shop Discovery Club A/W 2014 Edition (*)

I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of perfume counters, trying to casually browse with the constant feel of eyes watching you, the assistants trying to sell you the latest fragrance and then being overwhelmed by the aroma of others scents other customers are spraying… it isn’t pleasant.
