Jemma Kidd Stardust Creme Shadow - Comet (*)
I’ve never really owned any creme shadows as I’ve always thought there were quite tacky on the eye and crease easily. However when I spotted this little stick on the Fragrance Direct website I was intrigued. I’ve never heard of the Jemma Kidd brand before however there was something about the ease of a compact crème eye shadow stick that brought me to choose it.
The product itself is a twist up design with a slim stick of cream shadow that enables you to apply the colour straight onto the eye without any need for brushes. On first application the shadow is highly pigmented with a shimmery bronze tone that compliments its shade name ‘comet’.
I applied this product to my crease line creating a bold shadow to make the eyes pop. I found the product stayed in place after hours of wear and to my surprise (unlike a lot of cream shadows) didn’t crease nor budge onto my lower lid.
The great thing about this creme shadow is when first applied you can blend and smudge the shade to create a more natural shadow as it slightly changes to a lighter bronze tone and disperses its comet like shimmers to create a more subtle glitter shadow. But after a couple minutes the product slightly dries to stay in place.
I’d love to grab a couple more of these Jemma Kidd Crème Stardust Shadows as they’re a great little product to have in your handbag to take your makeup from day to night. Not to mention they’re only £1.99 from Fragrance Direct when average RRP is £12 – bargain.
