Hey Guys,
Firstly apologies for the low quality photos but my SLR is having a moment which I'll get fixed!
But finally the humid, sticky weather has taken a back seat until next year and our fashion shivering finger tips are ready to delve into knits and layers....Well mine are anyway!
Ive always been one for cold weather. I like layers, accessorizing, chunky jumpers, over sized scarves and of course those autumnal dark green and burgundy colors.

So i guess this post is my wardrobe introduction to Autumn/Winter. A pair of boots for this season is  essential and i love these ankle fitting boots i bought from Matalan for only £22. They are super comfortable and are being a classic looking ankle boot are pretty versatile when it comes to my wardrobe. Another bargain has to be the lookalike studded bag from Primark of all places which is from their Limited Edition collection. Ive been trying to shy away from studs as they've become insanely popular but i just had to grab this bag and it adds an edge to a girlie outfit.

As I've mentioned previously I'm a skirt and dress ONLY kind of girl which yes, means (exclusing my lounge around trackies) I do not own a pair of trousers or haven't in years anyway. So for Autumn i shall be layering up the maxi skirt. They are great because you can always team them with a pair of black opaque tights or if its a little warmer bare legs. This one from River Island is a darkish purple  and i would probably team it with the cosy grey jumper i bought from Primark which is perfect for layering up with a scarf or wearing a tshirt under.

Speaking of which Im so happy i found this Tshirt i bought from the TRF section of Zara which is basically the cheaper section. Ive been looking for a graphic tee to team with a midi skirt for ages and this tee has a quirky rock and roll look to it in which I'll probably add a chunky gold chain necklace!

Firstly I apologise for my "glum" look, i was in a bit of a rush and so didn't get too snap happy, so to speak.
After past experience I for one find that you don’t always get what you pay for when it comes to makeup and therefor I’m a big fan of high-street makeup brands. I couple of these products are pretty versatile (if you can use that word for describing makeup) as i tend to use my brow pencil as a crease line eyeshadow and the Maybelline eyeshadow as a highlighter as the pigment isn't too strong. One of my favourite brands (if you haven’t noticed already) is Bourjois. Not the cheapest on the high-street but not the most expensive. I find that their products are a perfect match to my skin colour and in particular their gel based Healthy Mix Foundation is perfect for my dry-combination skin.

I always carry more than I need in my makeup bag, just in case I wake up and fancy something slightly different from my usually “everyday look”. So I don’t use every product I have cluttered in my bag.  My everyday makeup usually consists of: Foundation, Concealer, Blusher, Liquid Liner, Mascara & Brow Pencil. The Mascara i use on a daily basis is the Avon Super Curlacious and id highly recommend it as it doesn't clog the lashes together and really lengthens them alot! But if im heading on a night out or just want my lashes a little thicker I'll use the Rimmels Scandal Eyes mascara on top of the Avon one to thicken them up! On the occasional days depending on how my skin is Il use the Bourjois Powder as its great for taking away any oily shine or if m looking slightly paler than normal Il brush on the Bourjois Medium Bronzer, which all of Bourjois products smell DIVINE especially the cocoa scented bronzer.

My recent purchase from Bourjois was the NEW Bourjois Black Felt Tip Eyeliner. Ive had experience with the Maybelline one before and hated it. But after using the Bourjois tester in the shop and liking how black it stayed once applied I figured I’d give it a go and it was half price too! The positives about the felt tip is that It’s pretty damn hard NOT to get a straight line and so is perfect for those with shaking hands. The thin nib is also great for dotting the lash line if you want to thicken the lashes without creating a lined eye.
Ive  used this product a couple times to do the winged liner look and found that it swept on a lot neater than most liners I’ve used. The only downside to this product is that it smudges a little at the edges but other than that Id recommend it! I tend to use the felt tip along the lashes as I don’t like the liner too thick & then the clubbing liner to do the winged flick! All in All id give this product 9/10!

Jacket-DorothyPerkins, Bag-Ebay, Dress-NewLook, Belt-H&M, Necklace-H&M, Tube Ring-Vintage, Lady Ring-Vintage, Silver Chunky Ring-H&M,

I've been looking for a thin versatile jacket for a while and i finally found this casual khaki one from Dorothy Perkins. I wouldn't usually reach for a military style as they are usually quite a boxy fit that look a little too boyish for what i like, however the thin material of the jacket along with the casual shape means its drapes for a loose fit.

I wore this outfit at the weekend. The dress is from New Look and actually has a pretty pleated bottom which unfortunately isn't too visible on the photographs. Its one of those super comfortable stretchy midi dresses that i always throw on, on a Sunday when heading out for casual coffee or lunch.

The necklace is probably a favorite H&M find of mine because it makes up any outfit due to its busy spikes that make it a little chunky.  I could spend a fortune in H&M at the minute, Its A/W collections are always bang on trend and this years maroons, emerald greens, stripes and metallic are a favorite instore.
