I've fallen head over heels for Bourjois makeup and minus the blusher (F&F Tesco) and the Mascara (Benefit) the rest of my makeup is dedicated to the popular little or rather large high-street beauty brand. I find their foundations are a perfect match for my skin and aren't too thick, leaving a natural and light look. And with a flicked liner being a favorite of my everyday makeup, for anyone who loves a cat eye id recommend their "Clubbing Ultra Black Liquid Liner". It stays put and brushes on in one sweep so no need for "coloring in" unless you use the makeup tip where you have too.

Possibly channeling my inner goth in this outfit but i kind of like it. I picked the mesh maxi skirt up on a whim from Topshop thinking it wouldn't be that flattering but its its turned out to be one of the most flattering skirts i own! The mesh overlay material is really floaty and with it being see through shows off your silhouette in the underskirt. Its one of those skirts you can dress up & dress down and I'm always one for versatility!
  I wore this out shopping so teamed it with a loose grey crop tee from H&M. I'm really not a fan of tummy flashing cropped tee's, they remind me a little too much of being on holiday in the 90's. However most of my skirts are high-waist and so some crop tee's sit right on the waist and save me from that high waist skirt problem of tucked in t-shirt bulge! Im a big fan of studs and spikes so this H&M necklace was a bargain find at £7 and also comes in gold. Teamed with a studded bag and im good to go!

Really liking maxi & midi skirts at the moment and trying to collect a few so i have them in different colours for the seasonal weather. However i couldn't help but pick this navy one up from Vero Moda which is a little similar to the vintage one in my last outfit post but it has pockets, a little darker and is a silky material.....that qualify's as a good enough reason to buy it in my opinion!

I wore this outfit to go into town as its super comfortable especially with the fur feel leopard print shoes i discovered after NEXT kindly sent me a voucher! They are alot lighter in colour than other leopard print shoes which makes them great for going with outfits were i am barefooted as my skin is only lightly tanned so they match everything. I already own a couple pairs of slipper style shoes due to them being darn comfortable so i was super happy with my purchase even with it being a toss up between these and some dalmatian style print ones!

So this weekend il be on the hunt for more maxi/midi skirts as well as contemplating also buying those dalmatian print slipper shoes!

Dip dying has been a big trend this Spring and DIY dip dying has been pretty damn popular especially around fashion/beauty blogging world. I must admit ive been wanting to try it for myself but was a little unsure if the wash out dipped colour's would suit me so i hid away from grabbing a bottle of clothing dye and a plain white tee (my bad).
However i am a big fan of nail polish! No matter if the latest trend doesn't suit you or your not brave enough to wear it (mainly the last one) those fashion savvy fingers wriggling at the ends of your hands can pull ANYTHING off! So i thought id put a twist on the dip dye trend and try it on my nails!

Heres how to DIY;
You will need;
Clear top coat
2 colours of nail varnish (I chose my favourites: BarryM Peach Melba & Gosh MissMinty)
1 cotton pad soaked in Acetone Free nail varnish
Fast drying spray (optional)

Step 1. After prepping your nails for a perfect polish and leaving them free of base coat. Add a thick coat of your starter polish on the bottom of your nail only.
Step 2. While the starter polish is still wet add the second polish starting at the tip of the nail (breaking every manicure rule) and brushing down to the middle of the nail to meet the starter polish.
Step 3. Wait around 30 second before blending both colours together by sweeping up and down the middle of the nail only.
Step 4. (An obvious one) Repeat over all the nails.
Step 5. (optional) Use fast drying spray if need be to dry quicker & finally when dry lightly swipe over the (acetone free) soaked cotton pad to again bind the colours together that little bit more and smooth out the finish. Following this add a clear top coat and your done!

And taa-dar or taa-dye! (I know, I know)
Im really please with how the nails turned out and looking forward to trying this technique out with a few more colour's. (Let me know if you try it out, would love to see photo's!)

Hello loooooooooong weekend and Jubilee Celebrations galore.
I think the blue, white and red has subconsciously placed itself into this outfit without meaning too.
But i really like the the neutral look of navy and brown and would usually pop a grey crop tee over the top. But with the  sun being out i thought i decided on a clean white tee and added a few bright accessories.
The turquoise accessories trend has finally hit popular retail shops and after recieving the amazing turquoise peace necklace from MinimumMouse i had to get my jewellery donned hands on a few more accessories in the same color and so stumbled upon Topshops rather large collection of the turquoise stone and spied this cross ring!

In other news, really looking forward to this weekend as im using the grande excuse of The Jubilee to use as many retail discounts as i can, visit some local street parties, drink lots of tea and bake some scones. The ol' town of Manchester is filled with quite alot of organised events over the whole 4 days that i really want to get around them all but that'd be impressive if i anyone could! Just going to hope the weather cheers up and pick the best ones to go to!
