There are only a small handful of places around England that can guarantee a Vintage shopping experience.  One of those places is Manchester.
With an array of shop to quench your vintage tickling taste buds and genuine cupcake and coffee shops to actually do so. Manchester isn’t one to miss out on if you want to find that one off woven handbag or tea dress.

One of the biggest stores to guarantee you’ll walk out with a classic second hand piece is Ryan Vintage. Its probably the one store that you couldn’t miss with it being the biggest one. Ryan Vintage stock everything from; womens classic dresses, fur coats and wedding dresses to men’s tweed trousers, cowboy boots and shades. It even has a small section if you want to pick up a unique piece for your home.

Take a peek inside Retro Rehab on Oldham Street who also has a concession in the Manchesters Topshop.  Inside you’ll find both original and authentic reworked vintage pieces. There are rails upon rails to choose from and with summer upon us its best to go grab a few pieces ready for its arrival.

Afflecks Palace is another one of Manchester unique gathering of stores in one area.  With floor upon floor of little shops that it doesn’t matter how many times you visit you’ll always find one you haven’t discovered that it’s a great place to collect a one off piece. There are a range of stores from Vintage reworks, body jewellery, costumes, homeware, cafes, jewellery making and what ever else you might come across when your wondering around!

Rags to Bitches is probably one of the more well known  vintage emporiums and definatley has a charm for old school glamour and Hollywood sirens. Check out the website at http://www.rags-to-bitches.com/ to persuade you more.

Others shops to look out for in Manchesters Vintage Quarter are: Junk (great reworks and jewellery) , Blue Rinse, Oxfam Originals, Vintage Trends,  Pop Boutique (Who also run a cupcakery next door!),  Best Vintage, Cow , American Grafitti,  Bratts Vintage, and of course look out for The Vintage Fair set up every so often at Manchesters Triangle.

If thats hasnt got your brogues tapping and handbag twitching i dont know what will!
